Attach MD3000i to Oracle Linux (using iSCSI)

Энэхүү постоороо би та бүхэнд MD3000i storage-г Oracle Linux руу хэрхэн холбох талаар дэлгэрэнгүй заавар хүргэж байна. Дараах алхамын дагуу хийнэ үү!

MD3000i Storage Software суулгах.(Windows)

1. Install MD3000i Storage Software



2. Select "OK"



3. Select "OK"



4. Select "Next"


5. Agree the agreement, select "Next"


6. Choose location



7. Select "Automatically Start Monitor", select "Next"


8. Select "Finish"




9. Select "Yes, restart my system", Select "Close"


MD3000i Storage Software суулгасны дараа MD3000i - ийн тохиргоо хийнэ.

10. Select "MD3000i Configuration Utility"



11. Select "Next"


12. Select "Configure MD3000i", select "Next"


13. Select "Discover New Arrays", select "Next"


14. Select "Automatic", select "Next"


15. Select "Next"


16. Enter Name, Select "Next"


17. Management port configuration, "Specify configuration manually",select "Next"


18. Configure Management IP address, select "Next"


19. Configure Management IP address, select "Next"


20. iSCSI por configuration, IPv4 "Specify configuration manually", select "Next"


21. Configure 0 IN 0 IP address, select "Next"


22. Configure 0 IN 1 IP address, select "Next"


23. Configure 1 IN 0 IP address, select "Next"


24. Configure 1 IN 1 IP address, select "Next"


25. Select "None", then "Next"


26. View the summary


27. Select configuration file location, select "Next"


28. Select "No", then "Next"


28. Select "Yes", then "Next"


29. Select "Next"


30. Select "Apply"


31. Select "No", then "Next"


32. Select "Finish"



Host Access - ийн тохиргоо хийх


33. Select "Configure Host Access (Manual)"


34. Нэрээ оруулаад Host Type дээрээс "Linux" сонгоно.


35. Select "Next"


36. Select "Next", select "No"


37. Select "Finish"


37. Select "No"

Virtual Disk үүсгэх.

38. Select "Create Virtual Disks"



39. Select "Unconfigure capacity", select "Next"


40. Select "Manually", select "Next"


41. Select RAID type and disks, select "Next"


42. Select "Database" and choose size, select "Next"


43. Map to HOST, select "Next"


44. Select "No", select "Next"



Oracle Linux - д MD3000i - г mount хийх.


45. iSCSI service - ээ restart хийнэ

# service iscsi restart


46. Discovery iSCSI Targets

# iscsiadm -m discoverydb -t sendtargets -p 192.168.55.220 --discover


47. Login to the iSCSI Targets

# iscsiadm -m node -p <Storage IP> --login

# iscsiadm -m node -p 192.168.55.220 --login


48. Орж ирсэн үгүйг харна

# ls -lh /dev/disk/by-path/*


49. Create one or more partitions using fdisk:

# fdisk  /dev/sdb

N (new partition)

p (primary partition)



Accept default initial and end blocks if you want to create a single partiton with the whole disk



w (write the information and quit)


50. check the new partition

# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/sdb: 21.4 GB, 21474836480 bytes

255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 2610 cylinders

Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes



Device Boot    Start       End    Blocks   Id  System

/dev/sdb1             1      2610  20964793+  83  Linux


51. Format the new partition as an ext3 file system type:

# /sbin/mkfs -t ext3 /dev/sdb1


52. Assigning a Label with e2label  (/etc/fstab) as root:

# /sbin/e2label /dev/sdb1 /MD3000iDisk


53. Check  /etc/fstab


# /sbin/tune2fs -l /dev/sdb1 |grep volume

Filesystem volume name: /MD3000iDisk



54. Then add the new partition to /etc/fstab, this way it will be mounted at reboot:

# vi /etc/fstab and add the following line:

LABEL=/MD3000iDisk /MD3000iDisk ext3    defaults        0 0 // add this line

55. Create mount point

# mkdir /MD3000iDisk



56. Assign permission

#chown oracle:dba /MD3000iDisk



57. Mount the new file system:

# mount /dev/sdb1 /MD3000iDisk


58. Check it

# df -k

...

/dev/sdb1             20635700     32828  19554636   1% /MD3000iDisk
